Happy Mid-Autumn Festival

The 15th day of the eighth month of the lunar calendar is the traditional Mid-Autumn Festival in my country. The Mid-Autumn Festival originated from the worship of celestial phenomena. The origin of the Mid-Autumn Festival is inseparable from the moon. It evolved from the ancient autumn moon worship. The Mid-Autumn Festival is known as one of the four major traditional festivals in China, along with the Spring Festival, Qingming Festival, and Dragon Boat Festival.

On the night of the Mid-Autumn Festival, people look at the bright and round moon in the sky and naturally look forward to reuniting with their families. Those who are far away from home also express their longing for their hometown and relatives during the Mid-Autumn Festival. Therefore, the Mid-Autumn Festival is also called the Reunion Festival. There is a poem called "Every festival makes me miss my relatives more", which means this. Gradually, this festival has been passed down and evolved into a festival for family reunion!
